NCD DDR Digital Radiography

Low Cost
"Low Cost" DR has never been considered an available solution. NCD is now providing a more affordable product than ever before. The NCD DDR Subsystem includes a low cost flat panel detector, a high performance HP computer console/workstation combined with acquisition, manipulation and diagnostic reading software.

Although this Subsystem sounds relatively basic, it also includes a bucky, high-line grid and AEC Ion Chamber(Optional). Software includes DICOM, worklist and five user licensing, allowing others outside of the radiology suite to access studies. The detector has a full two year warranty and at least one day of on-site training is included.

Good News
But the best news is the NCD DDR sells for as little as half the price of a high performance Computer Radiography (CR) system and as little as 1/4 the price of a conventional flat panel DR systems.

The NCD DDR subsystem is easily retrofitted to existing table and/or wall stand systems. It can also be used in portable applications.

Unlike CCD detectors of the past, the NCD DDR uses more than 190 CCD chips to capture light from X-Ray beams and converting it into a high-resolution image in seconds. CCD technology was developed years ago to create everything from digital photo cameras to photocopy machines. This proven technology has now been cleared by the FDA to enable X-Ray systems to provide high performance digital output at substantial savings over CR and conventional flat panel DR products.
