View Pro-X Ortho

Specialized orthopaedic functionality on the all-round VPX workstation

Adding the new orthopaedic workstation module to Rogan-Delft View Pro-X makes handling orthopaedic studies easier and reduces time necessary for pre-operative templating.

View Pro-X Ortho is an independent, webenabled, all-round workstation, that is suited for a vendor independent PACS environment.

It enables you to perform measurements and planning in your office and to view the results at any location in the clinic.

With special orthopaedic tools, key-driven Hanging Protocols, DICOM conform reporting

structure in an IHE compliant workflow, View Pro-X Ortho is the tool you need.

View Pro-X is a fully operational PACS viewer with more capabilities than you could expect.

Benefits

Hip Measurement
After View Pro-X Auto Calibration, you are guided through the 6 mouse clicks' measurement system. All you need to do is to adjust the reference lines. This will give you an outcome, on which you base the surgery.

Hip Arthroplasty Report
The results of measurements are displayed in a graphical VPX Ortho Arthroplasty Report, which provides you with the information on:

  • Offset
  • Distance to medial reference line
  • Acetabular component of leg length
  • Femoral component of leg length
  • Leg length difference: total leg length difference, acetabular component, femoral component.

Template

Auto-templating is carried out through an independent selection of the acetabular cup implant and the femur stem implant.

VPX Ortho supports all the templates of the main suppliers, for example Smith & Nephew, Stryker, Biomet, Synthes, to name just a few. Also the pre-operative templating of hip, knee, shoulder, elbow and hand is supported.

VPX Ortho has been developed in cooperation with
orthopaedic specialists.

Wear

Automated and accurate detection of wear enables you to assess the performance of the prosthesis over a period of time.

VPX Ortho gives you tools to measure the penetration of the femoral head for both all-poly cups and metal-backed cups. The bidimensional method provides you with the distance and the wear angle in relation to the cup angle.

Results of the measurements are stored in a DICOM-structured report and can be consulted afterwards to evaluate the relative wearing over time. The free text field allows you to enter additional data.
